Hello,
I am trying to use a PHP template file to add the published date for a post type I created using Toolset. Unfortunately, I cannot build a custom template using shortcodes because it stops the script that automatically add ads to my content (see https://toolset.com/forums/topic/script-for-automatic-ad-insertion-not-working-on-cpt/#post-2826559).

I am trying to follow this: https://toolset.com/documentation/customizing-sites-using-php/creating-templates-single-custom-posts/
However, I find it very hard to follow as I cannot locate single.php or content-page.php or content-single.php to create a copy for my custom post types. Could you point me in the right direction please? Should I be looking at /partials/single/ and if so, what should be copied/renamed?

Thanks,
Eloise

Hi Eloise,

Creating PHP custom templates depends on how your theme is created and is not what we support.

This is something that you need to contact a developer for.

Thanks.
