[Resuelto] Markers not showing on map even though clusters are.

Este hilo está resuelto. Aquí tiene una descripción del problema y la solución.

Problem:

The customer reported that markers on their map view were not showing up. Clusters appeared, but clicking on them did not display individual markers. The issue occurred without any recent changes made by the customer. Console errors were present on the production site.

Solution:

The customer created a staging site where the markers displayed correctly, and the console errors were resolved. After further investigation, the customer discovered that a plugin compressing and converting images was causing the custom marker images not to display properly.

I haven't edited my map view in months but a customer has just informed me that the markers on the map are not showing up. The clusters are there but when you click on them, the individual markers don't show up.

Can't work out for the life of me why this has happened when I haven't touched anything for months.

I forgot to add the link to the page with the map: enlace oculto

I see that the console is full of errors that look like they could be related.

You've shared site credentials, but it is your production site.

Do you have a staging server where we could investigate this further without affecting your live site?

I'll set another private reply in case you do have an alternative to share.

I've finally managed to create a staging site. Ironically, the markers are showing on the staging site and all of the image-related console log errors are gone. Staging: enlace oculto

Hello there,

Thank you for creating the staging for us and sharing your findings.

I checked it and the initial user you shared is not admin of the site, it is limited.

Can you please temporarily make it an admin so that we can proceed with debugging this issue?

Thank you,
Mateus

Hi guys,

Thank you for your support with this. I ended up discovering a problem with a plugin that compresses and converts the format of images on my site. It was affecting the custom marker image.

Thanks again!
