Impossible to change author in custom post type when editor is classic
Solution:
This is a known issue to us and we already fix the issue but its under going testing and fix for this issue hopefully will be publish with the next release of access 2.8.13.

Just found that it's impossible to change the author when custom post type use classic editor. I attach an screenshot.
With block editor it's possible to change author
