If Posts 'access' disabled and using WooCommerce then no access to admin dash

Problem: When I create Custom Role in Access, if I do not give the user access to the post-type 'Posts' then they have no access to the admin dashboard - either in the front-end or via the admin URL. They keep getting forwarded directly to the WooCommerce dashboard and they get no admin toolbar either. I can think of situations (such as mine) where I want users to access some post-types but NOT be able to create Posts (i.e. news items).

Solution: Update to Access 2.8 to receive the fix for this issue, so that Access will override WooCommerce's built-in limitation.

I can think of situations (such as mine) where I want users to access some post-types but NOT be able to create Posts (i.e. news items). For my application it's not mission critical but I thought it might be worth mentioning it. All other aspects of Access are working as expected.

After a bit of debugging, my 2nd tier team gave me this feedback:
As soon you active WooCommerce...the User would only be able to access the backend if:
- he has Post Edit Rights (edit_posts)
- or, if Posts are controlled with Access and the Subscriber is given Edit Rights at least there
- or, if you grant the user manage_woocommerce rights

We've created an internal ticket to clarify how Access should work in this case, and I'll keep you posted here as I receive more information.

Our developers have informed me that this issue will be resolved in Access 2.8 such that Access will override WooCommerce's built-in limitation here. I'll keep you posted as I receive additional information about the upcoming release.
