How do you get Toolset Blocks?

This support ticket is created 4 years, 9 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

We would like to create a widget of specific categories. From your documentation, it seems that Toolset Blocks is what is needed. But, I don't see any way to get Toolset Blocks. It seems to be part of the Toolset package, but how to get to it is a mystery.

Hello,

You need to use classic editor to setup the taxonomy(categories) view, for example:
1) Dashboard-> Toolset-> Settings-> General, in section "Editing experience", enable option "Show both the legacy and Blocks interface and let me choose which to use for each item I build"
2) Dashboard-> Toolset-> Views, create a new taxonomy view:
- Query terms of taxonomy categories
- Setup the filters
- In view's loop, display the terms information
3) In the WordPress widget, add a Toolset WP Views block, choose above taxonomy view of step 2)
