I am trying to: Use a slider in homepage
Link to a page where the issue can be seen: enlace oculto
I expected to see: A slider working, without overloading site (it becomes slower and slower)
Instead, I got: Slow site, where console shows several errors, so we had to hide slider

Hi there
You say the problem is on your home page, but the screenshot you shared is for a different page.
Could you clarify where the problem is?
Is this a staging site? Could you re-activate the slider so that we can see it and then try to diagnose the problem.
Thank you.
Nigel, slider from homepage causes those errors, which affect all the site. However, you can see this issue now at stgcoopenae.wpengine.com, which is a staging site with the slider activate. Again, slider is in the homepage, trouble impacts the whole site.
Hi there,
I checked the website's front end and there are no errors like the one you gave in the screenshot and the slider is there at the top.
I tried to log in to the website to deactivate the slider and do a comparison but the login information is not working.
Please check the private checkbox for the next reply to provide the login information.
I also need you to use the website below to calculate the speed between the website with or without slider:
enlace oculto
A small difference is acceptable as you add content to the website compared to the other way around.
Thanks.
Hi there,
Thanks, I checked nd the issue that you are experiencing is from the Preload functionality inside the Views block in the sidebar on the homepage.
You enabled the preloading and that will make the loading of the page longer as Toolset tries to load the next pages of the slider.
The plus point is that there will not be a loading while the transition happens in the slider and it will be more smooth.
I disabled the preloading and now the page loads faster. But in turn it will take time for loading on the transition of the slider to the next slide.
That is a trade off that you need to decide which method is more suitable for your needs.
Thanks
Thank you. It has improved.
Please consider check on your side this kind of issues, as we have had several about sliders by Toolset with Genesis Blocks Pro theme by WPEngine, and nothing from that side.
Furthermore, please check as soon as you can PHP 8.2 compatibility with Toolset, 'cause right now it does not work very well, so we have to hold on PHP 8.0, however our hosting provider is telling us that version is gonna be deprecated on their servers. Notice attached.
Thanks for assisting us. Submitted issue is fixed now.
