[Cerrado] Custom Post Type not showing in search results

Hi, have a custom post type 'Documents' using Divi theme and search. Have 51 items under the document post type.

Installed Relevanssi, post type is ticked to be included in the indexing. When building the index, it states:

Counting posts... 51 posts found.
Indexed 10 posts (total 10), processed 10 / 51.
Indexed 20 posts (total 30), processed 30 / 51.
Indexed 21 posts (total 51), processed 51 / 51.
Indexing complete. 0 posts excluded.

Yet when using the search bar, I get no results found.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Aside from, perhaps, using Types to register the post type, is Toolset involved in this search in any way?

It's not clear from your question that it is, "using Divi theme and search".

Have you created a custom search archive with Toolset?

Thanks for your swift response.

Toolset is used for the custom post type, so Im unsure if its a Toolset, Relevanssi or Divi issue. I can return pages through the search just not the custom post type content.

The search bar is a Divi module along with the search results page.

Sorry Ben, but I think that is a Divi issue, you'll need to consult with them.

How the post type is registered will be irrelevant. You could register it manually with register_post_type (https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/register_post_type/) to verify that, although I'm certain that would be the case.

One thing to check before we dismiss Toolset as a factor is to make sure you have Toolset Blocks (or Views) disabled if you have it installed and test again. (Blocks includes an integration with Relevanssi, but if you are not using a View or a custom search archive made with Blocks I wouldn't expect it to influence the search implemented with Divi.)

Tried disabling Toolset Views but the issue persists.

Can I get around this and build a search function with Toolset? As I only need to search this one custom post type and if possible, don't need to rely on anything else.

Hi Ben,

Are you referring to a backend search or a frontend search.

Meaning are you referring to the search on the custom post type table ?
