[Cerrado] Blank page after searching for specific keys

This support ticket is created 4 years, 7 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

hello support,
I have a problem with this website: enlace oculto
If you select the option "Security Expert UNI 10459:2017" in the "Figura" field and write "errico" in the "Nominativo" field you will be redirect to a blank page while if you change the "Nominativo" field with just "erric" everything is ok. Seems that the word "errico" cause a problem inside the search. The version of the plugin toolset views is 2.7.1 and I've never upgraded because I didn't developed the website and at the moment you will upgrade the searching system will break
Please let me know how to resolve this problem

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

First of all, we always recommend to run the sites with the latest Toolset plugins.

I just perform the search as said where I selected the option from the dropdown "Security Expert UNI 10459:2017" and added the search keyword "errico" and I can see the 1 result.

Dear Support, many thanks and what about the upgrading issue. When I try to upgrade the site search will not work anymore I also tried to deactivate plugin etcc to check but nothing seems some error related to the plugin.
Can you please let me know how to resolve?

I do not recommend to update it on your production site but first please create a staging site and update the plugin there to see everything works as expected and once you review that you should later go and update on production site.

Can you please share more details what exactly is not working when you update to latest views plugin? Can you please share staging/development site access details and I would be happy to review whats going wrong with your site.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
