This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Sorry for the late reply, I've been away.

You suggested using a separate CPT, does this mean when adding a new post we would have to add the images separately?

Hi, yes based on what Shane was describing this would require two separate Forms. One Form would create the "parent" post, another to create each "child" image post.
