View: This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed.

This support ticket is created 2 years, 8 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I am trying to: Insert a View block

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:

I expected to see: The interface for inserting/choosing a view.

Instead, I got: "This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed. "

I cannot insert View blocks.
This is affecting a live site I am working on as well as a CLEAN install demo site.

As soon as I insert a View block, the error displays in the editor.
"This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed. "

I found that there were updates to Types/Blocks.

The updates DO NOT SHOW up in WP Admin unless you go Plugins > Add New > Commercial and manually check for Toolset updates. Please fix this so that updates show up on the Plugins/updates page.
