hey,
i have a questionnaires site. each q has an image, category, tags. i've created a custom search by category and tag to display all relevent q images in a slider. for example - all images of q's undet category "math", tag "trigo".
so far, so good.
now - i want to create a secondary view, which show all relevant images only NOT IN A SLIDER. so i created another view, showing all images of q's, and filtered it to show only tags of "post in the current loop", and then placed it inside the first view - but i keep getting no results.
it's as if there's no connection between the two views. like the 2nd view isn't getting which post is currently in the loop.
what am i doing wrong?
thanks!

Hi Ido,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

Could you provide me with admin access to the website so that I can take a look at the view ?

The private fields will be enabled for your next response.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Ido,

I see the issue.

Just for clarity you want the images to be filtered with the same search parameter for the tags as the search fields correct?

Because the currently filter will only get the tags of the page where the view is added.

Please let me know.
Thanks,
Shane

yea, the parent filter displays relevant images in a slider, and i want the second to display them all in one go.

Hi Ido,

There are some limitations to this and one is that we can't use the AJAX refresh.

I've set this up so that the filter affects the image view but it needs a full page reload to achieve.

Please let me know if this helps.

Thanks,
Shane

problem is with full page refresh the reset button fails. after reset the filter shows all values instead of just available ones...

also now the nested view shows ALL images and not the images filtered by the parent view...

hey, i think i got this right - i've added all the url parameters to be the same of the parent view (category, tag, q number, q units), so now it should get the exact same results of the search, provided i am updating the page url every search, right?
just need to solve the reset button failure, but i'm on it in a different thread.
thanks shain!
