Slow site errors with toolset

This support ticket is created hace 9 meses. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Hi there

Those entries from your logs are not errors, just deprecation notices that warn something could break in the future.

I'm guessing you are running a very current version of PHP if you are seeing those.

Could we please get your debug info as described here: https://toolset.com/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/

Also, do you have any more information about which parts of your site are slow? Specific pages? The front end? The back end?

I tried the two of php 8.0 and 8.3 but both are very slow.
The site is slow on the front and back.

Hi there,

Thanks. The PHP version that my colleague mentioned is for the deprecation messages which should not have anything to do with the performance of the website.

To troubleshoot the performance please do as follows:

- Copy the website to a srtaging version so you can do the tests below. Do not test it on a live website.

Check Toolset alone

- Switch to the default theme such as "TwentyTwenty" by going to "WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > themes".
- Deactivate all the plugins of your website except Toolset plugins.
- Check the speed of the website with a tangible tool such as:
enlace oculto
- Activate the Theme and get the result of the performance
- Enable plugins one by one and note the results.

Get back to us with the result and numbers. As a test please use the homepage of the website.
