Hi,
It would be very helpful to be able to see the parent or child posts in the admin column.
Thanks.
Hi Valeria, we have this request filed.
I think this can make sense on a One To Many Relationship.
On the Many part of such a relationship - or in a Many To Many relationship this may be mess, if you have many posts that are connected.
Do you have any preferences how the "look" should be and the "Behavior" of this?
(With above problems in mind)
I can then pass this preferences as well to the developers, to consider.
Hi Beda,
Thanks for the reply.
I think it should be something like that:
- for a parent: display the title of the post with the link (that's the one I'm mostly interested in).
- for children or in any case where there is a lot of connected posts: first 3-5 links are displayed, others are hidden and can be viewed by clicking on the link "more" (open collapsed, or in tooltip or pop-up). Then there is no initial mess and you still can see all of them if needed. If you find this can be a problem (for example, there are hundreds of chlldren for every post and page can get too heavy to load or something), maybe give a warning about it when enabling this column.
Clicking on the links should bring to editing the posts.
It would be very very nice also to be able to output the post ID as one of the columns.
Thanks.
