The same thing happens to me in these threads:
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/latest-types-update-causes-issue-with-wysiwyg-field-in-wpml-secondary-language/
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/after-updating-to-new-toolset-types-we-receive-script-error-on-admin/

When I try to edit a post in a secondary language, the page does not load at all because a javascript error appears

Uncaught ReferenceError: wptCallbacks is not defined
in the file
/wp-content/plugins/wp-views/vendor/toolset/toolset-common/toolset-forms/js/validation.js?ver=0.1.2

I have installed the following plugins:
- Toolset Maps: 1.7.1 version
- Toolset Types: 3.2.1 version
- Toolset Views: 2.7.1 version

Thank you

Hi there,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry to learn about the difficulty you're having.

Before proceeding with the troubleshooting steps, can you please perform a small test?

Please install and activate the Toolset Forms plugin as well and then see if this has any effect on the error shown in the browser's console.

In case the issue still persists, please share temporary admin login details in reply to this message.

Hello,
Once the plugin is installed, the javascript error persists,
Uncaught ReferenceError: wptCallbacks is not defined

But this time the error is in another file:
/wp-content/plugins/wp-views/vendor/toolset/toolset-common/toolset-forms/js/validation.js?ver=0.1.2

Thanks

Please, it is very important for me to solve this problem.

Hi,

Thanks for writing back and for sharing the update.

I've performed few tests with latest WPML and Toolset Types plugin, but couldn't reproduce this issue on my test website.

As requested earlier, can you please share temporary admin login details in reply to this message? This will help in troubleshooting, what specifically is resulting in this error.

Your next reply will be private and please remember to make a complete backup copy of the website, before sharing the access details.

regards,
Waqar

Hi there,

Thank you for waiting and for sharing the login details.

The console error related to the "wptCallbacks" function is fixed, after updating to latest Toolset Types 3.2.3.

But, since your website is still using older WordPress (4.9.8), you'll see a different error in console, for all languages.
( Uncaught ReferenceError: ReactDOM is not defined )

This specific error should be fixed, after updating to latest WordPress.

Important note: it is always recommended to update to latest WordPress and plugin versions, as soon as they're available, for security and performance reasons.

regards,
Waqar

Hi,
My problem is that my theme, at the moment, is not compatible with the new version of wordpress. Is there a way to go back to an earlier version of types and that everything works again while solving my theme?

#1170723

My issue is resolved now. Finally I have gone back, to version 3.1.2 of Types, until my theme is compatible.
Thank you!

P.S. The only problem with the support is the time difference between countries, which makes communication very slow
