If we want to use the Toolset Views plugin, do we need to still install the 'Toolset Types' plugin?

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

'Toolset Type is used to create the content in backend basically that involves custom post type, taxonomies, custom fields (post, user,term). If you are not creating content using Toolset Types, what content you want to display?

It depends - it should work in general but then you should be able to know how to display that non-types content.

We are using another plugin to create CPTs, but would like to use the Toolset Views plugin to create Views, so do we still need to install the 'Toolset Types' plugin?

No - in that case you can only use Views plugin.
