[Resuelto] Inserting New Filter, taxonomy no longer has option for terms with no posts

Este hilo está resuelto. Aquí tiene una descripción del problema y la solución.

Problem: I would like my View's taxonomy filter to include all terms, even if they are not associated with any posts.

Solution: In the View's Custom Search settings, choose "Let me choose individual settings manually," then select "Always show all values for options." Fill in the remaining settings as desired.

was this option removed? I need to show the empty taxonomy terms whether or not they have a post attached or not, but the setting I see reference to in the docs/old support tickets seams to be missing. Please Advise

Hi, if you are talking about adding a taxonomy filter to a View of Posts or some other CPT, then you can find a setting that controls the input options in the Custom Search Settings section of the View editor. See the attached screenshot search-settings.png. If this section is not visible on your View editor screen, use the "Screen Options" tab at the top of the page to toggle the display. If you have selected "Let me choose settings manually" you will find an option to always show all values for inputs.

If you're talking about a View of a Taxonomy, then you will find this setting in the Query Options section near the top of the screen. Again, you may need to use the "Screen Options" tab to toggle the display. See the attached screenshot query-options.png.

Please let me know if I have misunderstood what you're looking for.

Sorry I mean when Adding a new filter that is a taxonomy and that taxonomy has 10 terms but only some of them have posts that are set to them, I only see the ones with posts listed on the front end?

Hi, there's not an option to show/hide empty terms in this dialog. Close it and click "Let me choose individual settings manually" in the Custom Search settings, then you can select the option to "Always show all values for inputs". Fill in the other settings to match your desired search configurations, and you should begin seeing empty terms appear in your search filters.

Ahh that's where it's hiding now, thanks Mate!
