[Resuelto] in search form, hide checked taxonomies and show them somewhere else

Este hilo está resuelto. Aquí tiene una descripción del problema y la solución.

Problem: I would like to create a custom search filter of taxonomy terms. When the user selects a term, I would like it to disappear from the main filters and appear in a list in a separate area.

Solution: This type of advanced custom search filter isn't currently available. Single select, multiple select, radio, and checkboxes are the standard term input fields we provide.

hey,

i have a search form with checkboxes. the taxonomy is recipe ingredients.
i want that whenever a taxonomy is checked in the form, it will disappear from the form and appear somewhere else (in a new container).
for example:

i have ingredients: cheese, tomato, onion, chicken

they are showing in checkboxes.

whenever the user checks one (let's say, tomato) - the "tomato" is hidden in the search form, but appears in a new container, like a "basket of taxonomies" used.

I thought of creating a view displaying taxonomy titles, but couldn't figure out a way to show only taxonomy titles which are CHECKED in the search form.

Also, I couldn't figure how to hide check taxonomy, as the checkbox with the "checked" class is a child of the entire checkbox selector.

Thanks!

Hi, it sounds like you're talking about a custom multiselect widget, kind of like this:
enlace oculto

Views doesn't currently offer a similar specialized multiselect widget. We provide a multiselect field, contained in a single select field instead of two separate areas showing selected / unselected filters. I can't think of an easy way to achieve that kind of interface in Views. Any implementation will require a good deal of custom code, which we don't provide here in the support forums. This document discusses a few different options we offer for search forms:
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/front-page-filters
Checkboxes, radio buttons, single select field, and multi select field are all possibilities, but integrating with another custom select widget would require custom code.

Please let me know if I can help you implement any of the available options for searching your recipe ingredients.

thanks, Christian 🙂
I have another question regarding "approximate" results - but I'll open another thread for it.
