I exported the layouts from my demo site and I can import them into other site

I am trying to: Import layouts from demo site

I expected to see: import successful

Instead, I got: a spinning import started with no progress

It's Ok. For some reason it didn't like the .zip file, and worked when I uploaded each file individually.
