[Resuelto] How to "pin" a publication

Hi

I've created my "Movies" CPT. I'd like to be able display an archive page with all of them but on the top, I'd like to display 1 favorite movie. So I need to be able to flag only 1 movie to display at the top without going to all of them and uncheck a "pin " option.

How can I do that ?

You could achieve this by creating an archive template for your custom post type (Toolset -> Dashboard). Then, you would be able to add the desired publication at the top of the archive template (using a 'View' block, for example).

That means I need to change the order number of each post when the order change.

What I'd like to achieve is to have 1 favorite "Movie" to place on the top of the page.

Maybe I need to create a new CPT "Favorite movie" in relationship with movies in 1 to 1 relation ?

Thanks for the clarifications.

As a workaround, you could:

- add a Checkbox custom field to a field group belonging to this post, and name it as 'featured', for instance
- then, you can tick this checkbox in the desired post, so that it would be considered as a 'featured' post (like the 'feature recipe' field exemplified here: https://toolset.com/glossary/custom-fields/)
- afterwards, in your archive template, you can sort the posts using this field as a reference
