[Resuelto] How can I put a banner (header with image and text) on a custom Woocommerce shop

Este hilo está resuelto. Aquí tiene una descripción del problema y la solución.

Problem:

The issue here is that the user wanted to add a banner to their woocommerce shop page that is out of the customizable area of toolset.

Solution:

Unfortunately you won't be able to do this because Toolset isn't able to modify these sections and would need to be changed through the template file itself

Hi,

How can I put a banner (header with image and text) on a custom Woocommerce store page
I'm doing a custom woocommerce store page for my website. How can I put a banner / header before the standard fields of the woocommerce shop page?

Look at the screenshot.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Francisco,

These are sections that you can't modify using our toolset plugins.

These areas will need to be modified in the php template of the shop itself.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane,

It was not supposed that with Toolset you could completely modify the archive pages?
They are all problems, wherever I go, walls appear everywhere. 🙁

That way I can't work. 🙁

Francisco R.

Hi Francisco,

Actually no these sections are purely controlled by the theme.

The only place toolset can modify is the content area where the products display. Anything outside of the content loop is purely controlled by the theme.

However I believe you may be able to do this with our layouts plugin, our layouts plugin is able to allow you to add the banner, maybe not in the exact same spot as you depicted but you can definitely add a banner with this.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane,

From what I have read, now you do not recommend using "Toolset Layouts" for new projects. You only recommend using Gutemberg, Kadence and Toolset Blocks.
The header/banner would be in the content area, just above the Woocommerce selection fields.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Jose,

Actually No the header/banner area is not within the content area. The items within the content area is the product loop itself.

The header/banner would be considered to be a part of the Page Layout itself. Anything above the Woocommerce selection fields is the Layout area.

Thanks,
Shane
