Hi. i have one row wherer the content is admin view only.

i need to hide this whole row and its contents .
how do i achieve this ?

Pls note i can only hide the content inside the row for now using access shortcode .
i have trouble hiding the external container.

what are the ways to hide ?

i am testing all possibilites now.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Well - It is not possible to hide layouts row or cell conditionally but it is possible in a Visual Editor cell to add wpv-conditional shortcodes or use access shortcode to hide content conditionally which you are already doing.

We already have a feature request filed to our internal system and it's under assessment. You may see this feature implemented in near future which depends upon our developers and their predefined priorities. But I will add your voice to our internal ticket to count your vote to this feature.

wow i am shocked and totally dissapointed on this.

this should be basic , you dont want to display the row if the content inside is empty. logic ,no ?
am i asking something thats impossible here?
and why is this ticket is not escalated to the next tier/etc ?

after spending many months with toolset plugin now i am facing this issue. this is one perfect reason to dump the Layout .

what is my option here ? elementor ,beaver builder ?

==> Yes , that is why we consider this feature and we are on it to implement it in near future.

==> As I inform you before, for now its not feasible to display Layouts row or cells conditionally so for now its not possible but once we implement this feature it will be possible in near future.

and why is this ticket is not escalated to the next tier/etc ?
==> There is no need to escalate the ticket to next tier as we already have feature request filed with our internal system and our developers are going to work on it very soon.

As I can see this feature is set to implemented with Layouts next major release version 2.2 but please note that there is no ETA and no commitments as its totally depends upon predefined priorities set by developers but this feature will be implemented soon. You just need to be bit patient and wait until we implement this feature to display conditional rows and cells using Layouts.

what is my option here ? elementor ,beaver builder ?
=> You can check and chose the page builder which best fits with your requirements.

I still dont get it why it was not implemented in early stages.. anyway

is there any other alternative workaround you can suggest ?

snippets or custom code or even other plugins ?

==> Sorry - unfortunately there is no alternative workaround available for now to display conditional row and cells for Layouts.

For custom code - you may contact third party contractors:

i can only think of this now.

hide the row div class in the css. and force display [with !important] if the field inside [set of fields] is not empty.

but this means i need to add more conditions inside for 10+ rows. that i have now.

Yes - you can either use CSS or jQuer/JS to show/hide based on condition if container is empty or not but you need to be sure that the custom CSS or jQuery/JS you write should not have negative effect on other parts of your site.

Hi,
how does it look like with this feature? It was not implemented in release 2.2. When we can look forward to the result?
Thanks in advance
