site is using avada - i tried disabling google maps there but still getting a loading twice error plus another error and a warning. please advise. thank you.

It seems that you have another plugin that may load the Google Maps script again. The plugin's slug is "wp-google-map-gold".

To narrow down this issue, we'll need to perform a compatibility test, please check if this issue appears when:
- Only Toolset plugins are activated. It will tell us if there is an interaction issue with another plugin.
- The theme is set to a WordPress default like Twenty-Twenty. It will tell us if there is an interaction issue with your theme.
If the problem disappears, start activating one at a time to track where the incompatibility is produced.

If this does not help, I'll need to take a copy of your website and analyze it locally. Would you be ok with that?

thanks - finally found it - it wasn't the wp-google-map-gold - turned out to be eventon which stores a google maps api. thank you!!
