Hi there,

I have created a front end form for service registration, and it works fine.

However, one of the fields is the "Service content" field (see the first screenshot attached). I also attached the screenshot of the Form editor for you to see.

The issue is that I do not want to display formatting buttons, but to have a plain text area for this field on the front end. Rather than the toolbar for formatting.

Can you tell me if this is possible please. And if so, how?

Many thanks again for your time.

Very best wishes,
Andrew.

Hello Andrew, and thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

The field for post content is automatically a rich editor. There is no direct way to make it a simple textarea from Toolset user interface. It will need some custom code.
Please check this tutorial on how to create a messaging system. See the section "New form", it discusses how to change the rich editor into a textarea using generic fields.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.
