Do you refer to the Custom Code section in Toolset > Settings, where you can edit code?

I understand you want a more "WYSIWYG" experience there, with custom quick tags that for example parse a code comment to the editor if clicked.

Is that right?

I am not sure we want to do this because it'll clutter the screen and be useless to programmers who will use this screen, as they usually will have their own preferences of even commenting code, or how to.

WYSIWYG" experience - yes, just a button that can be used to highlight text and comment the lines. it could be in the main editor so can be used everywhere,

not sure if there is any plugin for this though.

I'll discuss this and feedback here.

We have filed the request and will wait for more upvotes:
https://toolset.com/feature-request/add-quicktags-to-the-toolset-custom-code-editor/

To upvote, you can head to https://toolset.com/feature-request and search in Types for "Custom Code Editor".
Then upvote it according to how many sites you would need this.

Give it a day to be shown on the list, in case you don't see it just yet.
