Display/hide fields in edit CRED post form based on post's taxonomy?

I am trying to hide or display fields in a CRED post form based on the post's taxonomy. I found the forum post below, but that appears to be hiding/showing based on a user's selected checkbox/dropdown in the form itself. I would just like to hide/show fields based on the taxonomy selected in the wp dashboard.
