cred_notification_recipients using parent post email field
Commencé par : katjaL
dans : Toolset Professional Support
Problem: I have a Form that creates child posts. I would like to use automatic email notifications to send a message to an email address field in the parent post, but I can't get the cred_notification_recipients API to use the correct email address. Solution: Use the post relationships API and get_post_meta to access the parent post email address field: add_filter('cred_notification_recipients', 'modify_recipients', 10, 4); function modify_recipients($recipients, $notification, $form_id, $post_id) { // Check notification name matches target notification if ( isset($notification['name']) && 'Www-opiskelijahaku' == $notification['name'] ) { // Add email recipient $parent_id = toolset_get_related_post( $post_id, 'opiskelijan-harjoittelupaikka-hakija' ); $emailpalautusosoite = get_post_meta($parent_id, 'wpcf-palautusosoite', true); $recipients[] = array( 'to' => 'to', 'address' => $emailpalautusosoite, 'name' => '', 'lastname' => ''); } return $recipients; } Relevant Documentation: |

Edit link is not showing in list view
Commencé par : katjaL

Problem: I have created a Content Template and placed my edit post Form in the Content Template, but the edit post link doesn't appear in my View of posts. I'm also seeing an error that I need to create a Layout that holds my Form. Solution: If you have activated Toolset Layouts, you must follow the instructions specific to Layouts and insert the Form using a Form cell. You should not create a Content Template for this purpose if using Layouts. Relevant Documentation: |

Add empty row in the start of custom field filter select

Problem: I have a custom search View with several filters. One of those is a custom field filter. It is a "select" type input. I would like to include a default, empty option in this field. Solution: Scroll down to the Search and Pagination editor and you can add the "default_label" attribute to the custom search filter, like this. [wpv-control-postmeta field="wpcf-your-field-slug" type="select" url_param="wpv-wpcf-your-url-param" default_label=" "] Set the value of the attribute to be a blank space, and an empty line will appear in the select field. Problem: I would like to show content dynamically based on the author's role and the current visitor's role. If they are in the same role, the content should be displayed. Solution: Use Access post groups to display content conditionally based on User role. Relevant Documentation: |

Start view empty map
Commencé par : katjaL

Problem: I have two post types which both have a google address field and I try to show a google map with taxonomy filters and pagination on. When I go to the page, the view's list is full of records, but the map is empty (well, actually it shows some Africa continent area without markers. All the addresses are in Finland). Only after I EITHER choose some taxonomy OR click some page in the pagination the map gets rendered properly. After that it works perfectly. Solution: It is fixed by by using DIVI page builder, see details here: Relevant Documentation: |
