Hey Support,

I am not sure if this is a feature request or this already exists but we need to define the custom code information in the PHP file. We like that the "description" already exists in this way by being defined in the default comment tag. How can we define the (name, slug, is_active, run_mode, and run_contexts) within our php file in the same manner?

We work in a MultiSite installation so having a global way to manage the Custom Code snippet is a priority for us. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Bernard

Hi Bernard,

Thanks for asking! I'd be happy to help.

I'm afraid, currently, there is no public API or functions available to programmatically get or set the information fields for the custom code snippets.

You're welcome to submit this as a feature request at:
https://toolset.com/home/contact-us/suggest-a-new-feature-for-toolset/

Meanwhile, if your goal is to manage the custom code snippets across a Multisite network, you can also check out the third-party plugin "Code Snippets":
https://wordpress.org/plugins/code-snippets/

regards,
Waqar
