While the basic idea behind

[wpv-if evaluate="!empty('[wpv-post-taxonomy type="your_taxonomy_slug"]')"]
[wpv-view name="The name of your view"]
[/wpv-if]

is correct and works if I replicate it with some php, the evaluation does NOT work with the shortcodes, probably due to the single / double quotation marks.
Any idea about how to write this in a way View actually parses the if-condition?

Dear Wolf-Dieter,

The custom shortcodes names needs to start with "wpv-post-" to be used in wpv-if condition.

Please let me know if you are satisfied with my answer and if I can help you with any other questions you might have.
