Replace comment gravatar with ustomer user image

Hi, I am trying to display my custom user field 'photo' to replace the default gravatar in comments as well as in BBPress. How can this be done please as I cannot find any reference to it in the forums or documentation.

Never mind. I decided to use wp user avatar plugin for this as it's a much faster solution. Thanks
