Tell us what you are trying to do? Enter a URL that omits http: or https:. The URLS start with //....
This format displays the image quite well and is much more usable when applied to sites that may or may not have ssl configured. The only problem is that Toolset will not allow me to save a post with an image URL in this format.

Is there a similar example that we can see? https://toolset.com/forums/topic/valid-url-address-pointing-to-the-image-file-with-developer-environment/

What is the link to your site? Unnecessary. This is a problem described in a few threads and a feature request. The linked post has a workaround that was not provided outside of the participants. Please provide code that will allow me to disable URL validation in an Image field. Thank you.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Basically, for now, how the URL validation works is the same. There is no change in it and there is no option or workaround I have to offer you.

I suggest to make this feature stronger and popular and to bring it in front of our Devs you should file a new feature request using the form given with the following link:
=> https://toolset.com/home/contact-us/suggest-a-new-feature-for-toolset/

#1298593

This is not an acceptable level of support. Other threads had a solution or workaround provided. The link for upvoting the request was not provided. Just the link to create a new request.

The link for upvoting the request was not provided.
=> For feature requests, there is no upvoting system available. As per our new feature request workflow, you need to submit the new feature request and concern person will review it.

Other threads had a solution or workaround provided.
=> As you can see with the following ticket - the workaround is to remove the number from domain name but it does have http:// protocol.:
- https://toolset.com/forums/topic/valid-url-address-pointing-to-the-image-file-with-developer-environment/

Types URL field validation requires the http:// or https:// protocol to pass the URL validation and I do not see with any ticket that any workaround shared that without http or https protocol you will be able to save URL.

Another workaround would be you should use text field rather URL field. That will allow you to save URL without http or https but you need to handle.
