I am trying to: Display sub pages of a page.

I have a page called "Hire Tools" then ten other pages with "Hire Tools" set as the parent to create my hierarchy. I want to output the sub pages on the "Hire Tools" page using the view shortcode but it doesn't seem to work.

Is the parent / child thing different to pages using a hierarchy but both being the same post type?

Thanks

Okay so if anyone else runs into the above issue, this thread resolves it

basically you need to act slightly differently if wanting to display sub pages of a page, so both being from the "page" post type.
