Hi Beda.

My current project has an error that I need an expert to solve.

The datepicker CF does not complete for normal users, only for Admin. This is an ongoing problem that I addressed here: https://toolset.com/forums/topic/cant-save-parts-of-access/ and was unable to get resolution on.

Could you please log in and have a look around?

Pamela, might I ask why that Thread is solved?

It does not seem resolved issue to me.

Anyway, locally I am able to save Date Fields and complete them also as a non-admin.

I need the very exact steps to reproduce this.

1. User Role

2. Where you let the user edit things (CRED; WP Admin area..)

3. Special settings regarding the Dare Field

4. Does it happen with Toolset Only and a default WordPress theme.

As more informations I get to reproduce the more effective I can help you solve the issue.

Also, perhaps you could provide me some Debug Infos?
https://toolset.com/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/

This will help me see more details about your site.

If I then still can't reproduce locally, I will need access to your Site.

Perhaps you already are ready for providing me them.

For that porpoise I will enable the private Form, but I will not yet do any work on your site.

Thank you

I need a Subscriber Account to test this on your Site.

You don't permit any Role but Admin to see your CRED Form or edit them
See my screenshot in regard.

You need to set the Rules, as for example, in CRED FrontEnd Access Group the Subscriber must be set to:
- Edit Own Custom Post with CRED Form "Edit CD"
- Delete Own Posts using CRED

Then the Subscriber will be able to edit the CRED Form.

Please let me know if the above solution works for you, I look forward to your reply!

Thank you for your patience.

Hi Beda.

I have switched that account to subscriber/individual.

Subscriber/Individual role IS able to edit the form. That's not the problem.

As you can see in my screenshot, Access was set correctly.

The problem is ONLY the datepicker, which only completes properly for Administrator role.

Yes, but that is the Post Type setting, not the CRED Form setting.
At the time I logged in the CRED Form was not controlled by Access, but when Access is enabled together with CRED you NEED to control this with Access (as shown in your new screenshot)

You now allow Subscribers to EDIT their Posts, not to create some.
(or at least I do not see that in your Screenshot-)

Additionally that CRED from (I used the Minesh > Add new opportunity form) is not default CRED HTML Code.
The DatePicker is either modified with Custom Code or a 3rd party instance is overwriting JS.

You can see errors in the Console regarding this when you load the form.

This works fine on CRED / Toolset and a WordPress Default Theme.

It must be Custom Code issue or a 3rd party Problem.

To debug this, check first (again) if the issue also persist with a WordPress Default Theme and NO Plugins BUT the Toolset Plugins?

If not, could you then re-enable the Plugins one after the other, and check the issue each time you enable a plugin?
Please report me when the issue comes back
It might also be due to the Theme.
Please do reactivate your Theme only after you are sure the issue isn't coming form a 3rd Party Plugin.

Then, if it persist, I need a Admin account AND a subscriber account.
Or, I would need a sites snapshot if possible.
We usually recommend the free Plugin "Duplicator" for this porpoise.

If you already know how Duplicator works
(http://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/),
please skip the following steps and just send me the installer file and the zipped package you downloaded.

★ Duplicator Instructions
hidden link
Send me both files (you probably want to use DropBox, Google Drive, or similar services, as the snapshot file will be quite big)

❌ IMPORTANT ❌
Remember to create or keep an admin account for me before creating the snapshot, or I won't be able to login. You may delete the new admin account once the snapshot has been built.

I will enable your next answer as private so you can provide me the information securely.

Please don't hesitate to inform me in case the issue persists

Thank you for your patience.

I am truly sorry, this takes so long - 🙁

But the Toolset Password is wrong:

ERROR: The password you entered for the username toolset is incorrect. Lost your password?

The Same goes for the FTP Details:

Server meldete: Login authentication failed

I apologize that this is not going as fast as you are used - I try my best.

Please find the CRED Form permission settings in your Access and make sure those are readable, editable and writable for your Role.

A simple trick:
- If Access is disabled, CRED Form must show and be editable for every body.
- If not, there is a conflict with the Theme, custom code or 3rd party Plugin, or CRED is out of date.
There are no other possibilities.

As I saw on your site, CRED Date Picker is not default.
From what I see, some CSS and JS is overwritten.

Ensure that you have no Custom CSS or JS applying on those CRED Forms, or generally, your Theme or other Plugins are not overwiritng anything

I am only posting above instructions to try to expedite a solution while you provide new details for login, I don't want you to wait uselessly just because I don't post enough debug process informations.

Also, what is always a approach if everything fails (I will do that for sure once I have a local snapshot) is manually reinstall Toolset as per below instructions, and reinstall WordPress in Dashboard > Updates.

Also, I will clean all cache, I will delete all 3rd Party Plugins and use a default theme

On live sites all this has to be done after a full backup only.

★ INSTRUCTIONS:

❌ Backup your website and database ❌
• Deactivate/Delete the "Installer" plugin (if you have it)
• Deactivate all Toolset plugins
• Login via FTP to your wp-content/plugins folder
• Delete all Toolset Plugins folders
• Go to https://toolset.com/account/downloads/ and download the latest stable Types Plugin, then extract it.
• Upload the plugin via FTP to the wp-content/plugins folder.
⌥ alternatively you could upload the .zip file using Dashboard > Plugins > New > Upload
• Register the Plugin for your site
⌥ you can do that under Dashboard > Types > Settings > Types Tools > Installer
• Download all other needed Plugins
• Activate them in Dashboard > Plugins
This should not generate any problems.

I don't expect you to do the above processes, you seem to have done it enough times.

But it's for sake of fast solution.

I expect your new access details so I can grab the package and duplicate.

Thank you so much for your patience.

🙁 I apologize but I can not login to the FTP still.

It's the same login fail as above.

I checked with another colleague as it might be due to Geo Blocking, but with all trials we get the same.

 530 Login authentication failed

Can you share via Google?

You can upload the Folders and safer with "anyone who has this link"
Then, you paste the Share link here in the Forum in the next (private) post.

Thank you

#370603

I have enabled access for Malaysia. Please try again.

#371203

It seems now free to access but the Server is configured in a way that allows very short connection time only.

I can still not login.

This is the error I receive now:

Connection timed out or server failure. The server to which you connect is configured to restrict the number of connections that you may establish.

I apologize, this could be to solve faster by sharing the Files via Google even if they are big.

Please could you provide me the additional Details?

Thank you for your patience.
