Hello,

We have noticed that from the original image some thumbnails are created from toolset with -wpv_150x130.jpg and -wpv_300x200.jpg extension.

The problem is that these thumbnails are not created when the image uploaded to the local server but when is needed.

How I can create the thumbnails -wpv_150x130.jpg and -wpv_300x200.jpg when the image uploaded for the first time

Thank you.

Hi Aris,

Thank you for getting touch.

Unfortunately no you are not able to generate the thumbnails when you are uploading the images. As they are already generated by wordpress. The various image sizes are created by wordpress itself when you upload them.

How I can create the thumbnails -wpv_150x130.jpg and -wpv_300x200.jpg when the image uploaded for the first time

The only way you are going to be able to make these actual images is by using custom code to create them. Secondly it should be noted that these sized images would've already been dynamically created by wordpress itself.

Thanks,
Shane

Hello,

we want to upload the images to Amazon s3. We use the "WP Offload Media Lite for Amazon S3" and it's working correctly and uploads the created images from CRED form. The issue is that the thumbnails where created from Toolset with the extension -wpv_150x130.jpg and -wpv_300x200.jpg are not uploaded.

Thank you

Hi Aris,

I've checked on our system as i'm aware of an issue like this regarding the extensions for the images when using Blocks to render the fields.

I've seen where our developer commented to say that this is fixed in version 1.3 of our Blocks plugin.

So what I would do is to wait for version 1.3 release which should be soon as the plugin is currently going through QA right now.

Once the release has been made and you can verify that the issue no longer occurs please let me know.

Thanks,
Shane

Hello Shane,

We currently use Types and Views plugin. I assume that the same fix will apply to Views, right?

Thank you.

Hi Aris,

That is correct, any fix applied to Blocks will also be applied to views.

Thanks,
Shane

Hello,

we have update Views to the latest 3.3 and unfortunately, we have the same issue.

We use
<a href="[wpv-post-url]"> <img title="[wpv-post-title output='sanitize']" src="[wpv-post-featured-image size='custom' height='300' width='300' output='url']" alt="[wpv-post-title output='sanitize']"></a>

The custom image size creates the Thumbnail and they are not uploaded to the Amazon S3 Bucket

Thanks

Hi, Shane is on vacation this week and I'm going through his outstanding tickets. It seems that this one fell through the cracks, and another ticket was opened here: https://toolset.com/forums/topic/custom-size-image-is-not-uploaded-to-amazon-s3/

I think we can close here since the issue was addressed in another ticket.

This ticket is now closed. If you're a WPML client and need related help, please open a new support ticket.
