Can a posts view with 8 random posts be updated only daily?

I am trying to create a posts view that displays 8 randomly-ordered posts. I would like this view to stay the same all day (e.g. cached) and tomorrow a new set of 8 random posts will be selected. At the moment, it just displays a new set of 8 random posts each time the page is refreshed.

I thought this support thread might be getting close to what I wanted, but their example is not a random order: https://toolset.com/forums/topic/change-slider-weekly-or-daily/

Can a daily random post view be created like this with toolset?

I'm sorry to say that to display random post per day is not possible with views and out of the scope of native views function.
