With the older Divi Integration (prior to Views 2.5 and Layouts 2.1) I was able to set the header and footer sections manually using Layouts.

I'm using the Div Theme, and the latest versions of layouts, views etc.

I want to use a custom menu using the native Divi builder and to do this I need to be able to load a blank template, but cant do this via Layouts (or via the Content Template creation) and apply it to the whole custom post type.

I want a specific menu style for each custom post type.... but i keep getting the menu... see image. below (the original menu at the top, and below it what I want).

I have created a child theme off Divi and tried to copy over the "page-template-blank.php" and even renamed it to "single-{custom-posttype-slug}.php (and also tried this template, renamed the same).

Cheers.

Dear stuart,

According to our new document:
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/layouts-theme-integration/

These popular themes (Including Divi theme) are no longer “fully integrated” with layouts and they do not require any additional integration plugins. Instead, from the version 2.1, you use Layouts to design the content area of the page only. Additionally, the theme-specific Layouts cells that came with the old integration plugins are no longer available.

So I suggest you design the header part(nav menu) within Divi theme, and design the content part with Layouts plugin.
