Problem: When the datepicker appears, it includes month and year select fields that break out of the header design. I would like to style those fields to look just like the jQuery default Datepicker. I would also like to include a text input area so that the calendar is not shown by itself.
Solution: You must use only one shortcode to display both the search and results in order for this approach to work.
Follow the instructions in the linked ticket below to add a text-input style field to the datepicker.
Update the Query Filter to respond to a URL parameter instead of a predetermined filter query.
Show your results after an AJAX update by re-triggering the bounceIn animation from Flatsome using the Frontend JS events button in the Filter Controls JS editor. Or, alternatively, disable AJAX updates for this form.
