With The Events Calendar Pro plugin, in the content template of single event post, display the related "Venue" post information.
Solution:
The "Events Calendar Pro" plugin is using a hidden custom field "_EventVenueID" to store the Venue post ID, you can use it to display the "Venue" post information, see the solution in details:
The issue here is that the user wanted to display the parent title of their post
Solution:
When using the fields and views button to add the shortcode to the page, it should give you the option to select the post that you want to display the title for. This includes the Parent CPT. See Screenshot
If you select "Post Selection" and then "A post related to the current post, set by a Types relationship" then you should be able to select your parent CPT to display its title.
Problem:
A post type has a repeatable field group which itself contains a nested repeatable field group. When displaying the post, how to display the nested field groups?
Solution: Add a View to the post template which displays the first-level repeatable field group, which includes a Query Filter to display field groups which belong to the post where this View is shown.
In the Loop Output section insert another View, which displays the second-level field group, and which includes a Query Filter to to display field groups which belong to the current post in the Loop.
Problem:
Moving a site to another server the page design broke, in particular content which would normally be hidden/exposed based upon wpv-conditional shortcodes didn't behave as expected.
Solution:
The new server was running PHP 7.2, and PHP 7.x introduced a new error which affects long sections of conditional (where there is a lot of content to parse between the opening and closing wpv-conditional shortcodes).
We are working to improve this but in the meantime you can
- continue to use PHP 5.6, or
- simplify your conditional content.
One way of doing that is to move the content which you want to conditionally display inside an unassigned Content Template, and then insert that template within the conditional shortcodes.
