CSS not working on template
Started by: JorgeE7101
in: Toolset Professional Support
Problem: The bottom margins I have applied to the "row" CSS class do not appear to effect all the items in mobile. It only shows a margin on some items. Solution: Apply the bottom margin to the individual items rather than the row, since the columns in a row are broken into separate rows on mobile. |

Problem: I would like to apply different WordPress Archives to each level of hierarchy in a custom taxonomy. Solution: Use the wpv_filter_force_wordpress_archive filter to programmatically specify different WordPress Archives based on the taxonomy term hierarchy level: function get_tax_level($id, $tax){ $ancestors = get_ancestors($id, $tax); return count($ancestors)+1; } add_filter( 'wpv_filter_force_wordpress_archive', 'switch_tax_archive_by_level', 30, 2 ); function switch_tax_archive_by_level( $wpa_assigned, $wpa_loop ) { $wpa_to_apply = $wpa_assigned; $tax = get_queried_object() ? get_queried_object()->taxonomy : null; if ($tax == 'viagens') { $current_term_level = get_tax_level(get_queried_object()->term_id, get_queried_object()->taxonomy); if ($current_term_level == 1) { // show top-level archive $wpa_to_apply = 1761; } else if ($current_term_level == 2) { // show mid-level archive $wpa_to_apply = 1722; } else { // show third-level archive $wpa_to_apply = 1722; } } elseif ( is_home() ) { $wpa_to_apply = 1771; } return $wpa_to_apply; } Relevant Documentation: https://toolset.com/documentation/programmer-reference/views-filters/#wpv_filter_force_wordpress_archive |

Problem: I would like to show a list of descendant taxonomy term links on each taxonomy term archive. Solution: Use a taxonomy View and filter that View using a term parent filter, where the parent is the current page. Output a link to each term archive in the Loop Output editor. Problem: The Pinterest share link I have generated does not work correctly, and the Facebook link does not show all the desired information on the timeline. Solution: Follow the Pinterest documentation to format a pin link, and use Yoast SEO or another SEO plugin to specify which details to include on FB links. Remove page title for Archive Page
Started by: JorgeE7101
in: Types Community Support
Problem: Solution: add_filter( 'get_the_archive_title', function ($title) { return ''; }); OR if you want to remove Archive Title from some Specific archives only, then please add this code instead of above one: add_filter( 'get_the_archive_title', function ($title) { if ( is_tax( 'book-authors' ) ) { // Change 'book-authors' to your Taxonomy slug $title = ''; } return $title; }); If you would like to show only Term Title or Term Name, please use shortcode as given in our doc at below link. Correct shortcode for this case would be like this: [wpv-taxonomy-archive info="name"] Screenshots here: Relevant Documentation: |
