Problem updating serach form
Started by: jensA
in: Toolset Professional Support
Problem: A custom search View set as "AJAX results update when the visitors change any filter values" does not update as a user types. It only updates when they press "Enter" or click a submit button. Solution: This is the expected behavior, since triggering a search on each key press would trigger overlapping or sequential searches and may have unexpected results. A custom JavaScript solution may trigger a "change" event for any input field on keypress, but this is not recommended for performance reasons Relevant Documentation: http://api.jquery.com/on/ |

Grid border
Started by: jensA
in: Toolset Professional Support
Problem: Solution: The Toolset will let you query the contents and populate your own Custom HTML with it. The Views Loop Wizard lets you set up some basic structures, which you can enrich with your own CSS/JS and HTML. Given a Bootstrap Grid you will have your items organized in (if the GRID is a 3 columns grid) some div class="col-sm-4" . You can add classes to that div (those div's) and then add CSS to the CSS Editor to add shadows, or any effect you want. DOC: |
