[Resolved] Products not displaying as expected with Crowdfunding theme

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The Crowdfunding theme has a custom design for WooCommerce products. With Toolset that design is not being used.

Solution:
You add the WooCommerce Views add-on plugin to create custom designs for WC product pages. If you do not want to customise these, do not install the plugin.

Hello!
The site i'm building uses WP Crowdfunding Theme and Plugin.
There is a custom post type - Products, created by the theme on top of Woocomerce products (some custom fields are added).
When activating WP-Types suite, the post doesn't show up, returning this error: You need to select a layout for this page. The layout selection is available in the page editor.
Here is an example: hidden link
i would like to stick to the template created by the theme, instead of creating a new one through WP-Layouts.
is there a way to either tell WP-Types to use the layout created by the theme, or to cancel its control over this custom post type?

Thank you in advance,
Andrei

Checking "What the theme would output" in the Layout Tab for Settings, at "What to display if no layout is assigned to content" doesn't help. Screenshot attached

Hello Nigel!
The login and the password are the same - however, if you need them - just let me know.

Hi Andrei

the credentials you gave me for the other site don't work for this one, could you update them in your next reply so that I can see how you have this set up?

I'll mark the reply as private. (You can ignore the template where it asks for FTP credentials.)

Dear Nigel,
If the problem is related to this issue: https://toolset.com/forums/topic/content-templates-dont-display-after-switch-theme/ please help me find the function. Where should it be located?
Thank you in advance

Hi Andrei

This isn't behaving as expected, which may be because of the theme, but I'm not sure it matters too much in this case.

The crowdfunding theme uses a modified template for single products.

I assume you want to use that template (because it contains custom content about crowdfunding goals etc.).

So if you do not want to create a custom template for products (either single products or the product archive) you can

1. change the settings at Toolset > WooCommerce Views and specify the standard WooCommerce templates for both single products and the product archive (see screenshot, I have done this). You could also
2. disable the WooCommcerce Views plugin altogether if you are not creating and using custom templates for products, and
3. disable the Layouts plugin if you are not creating any templates with Layouts (currently there are none).

Thank you, Nigel,
I have disabled the Woocommerce Views plugin
