[Resolved] Why use Elementor?

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: Why would I use Elementor to build a page instead of Toolset?

Solution: It's a personal preference. Some customers have experience with Elementor before they use Toolset and they decide to stick with it. Others may not need it.

Thanks. Here is another question for you.
I just watched a video with Dario in which he created a custom search and the page was designed in Elementor - hidden link
What is the reason for using Elementor for the page design and not Toolset?
If you design your pages in Elementor and at a later stage, you want to update the layout of your (custom post type) pages - can you then just update the template OR do you have to change each and every page?
Best regards / john

It's simply a personal preference. Some of our customers already have experience building their site in Elementor, so they're more comfortable building pages in the Elementor system. Other customers don't need the drag-and-drop functionality of a page builder like Elementor, so they use basic HTML.

With Elementor Pro Templates, you can make the design change in one location and it will propagate to all posts that use that template. We have more information about using Elementor and Toolset together here: https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/using-toolset-with-elementor-page-builder/
