[Resolved] When Types is activated. I am unable to save pages using the 'Update' button.

This support ticket is created 6 years, 1 month ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I was using Toolset today for a few hours. Then it suddenly prevented me from saving pages and posts. The 'Update' button did not work. I deactivated all plugins - changed the Theme to 2017 - no joy.

The issue is definitely with the Types plugin.

A custom field was added to all pages and posts rather than just on a CPT.

I was unable to find this issue because the error warning was at the bottom of the page. I lost 2-3 hours trying to find the issue.

Perhaps look at displaying error messages from required fields at the top of the WP admin page?
