I have a COMMANDE post type where the date field is wpcf-date-commande, and a DEMANDE post type where the date field is wpcf-date-demande.
Now I have set a view where the column "date" is filled by wpcf-date-commande if the loop is on a COMMANDE post, and filled by wpcf-date-demande if the loop is on a DEMANDE post.
How could I make the date column sortable ?

Thank you.

Hi Roman,

I've checked the table and the column for the date is sortable so I'm not seeing any issues.

Thanks,
Shane

Hello,
Please see the "date" column.
I have set a view where the column "date" is filled by wpcf-date-commande if the loop is on a COMMANDE post, and filled by wpcf-date-demande if the loop is on a DEMANDE post.
How could I make the date column sortable

Hi Roman,

I'm not sure if i'm understanding correctly but when I click the date column it is sorting
hidden link

Could you provide a screen so I can have more specific information on the field you are referring to.

Thanks,
Shane

Please remove the link from your answer.

No, when you click the date column it is not sorting.
You can try again and double check, you'll see the contents are not properly sorted.

For instance you may look the 3 first results :
- line 1 is 08/08/17 05:48
- line 2 is 08/08/17 10:46
- line 3 is 08/08/17 06:41

Thank you.

Hi Roman,

Thanks for the clarity.

I checked on your other views and the date sorting is fine here
However I see the issue on the one here

What I would recommend is to recreate this view as something might be causing the sorting to not work properly.

Thanks,
Shane

I have set a view where the column "date" is filled by wpcf-date-commande if the loop is on a COMMANDE post, and filled by wpcf-date-demande if the loop is on a DEMANDE post.
How could I make the date column sortable

Also, please edit your posts and remove all links to my website.

Thank you.

Hi Roman,

I dont believe i'm understanding you correctly. You are asking can you make this date column sortable, It's already sortable because I can click it and the items are re-arranged according to the dates in that column. Is this what you are referring to.

Thanks,
Shane

#570454

Yes it is "sortable" since you can click, but when you do the sort is not right ! Please do so, click, and you'll see the dates are not in the right order !

Please feel free to look into my view settings to understand better.

Also please delete the link to my site on this post https://toolset.com/forums/topic/use-sort-on-several-wpcf/#post-570149

Hi Roman,

Would it be possible to do any testing on the site ?

I have an idea if what might be causing this.

Thanks,
Shane
