[Resolved] use of fields created by the FooEvents-plugin

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The issue here is that the user wanted to render custom fields that were not created in Types.

Solution:

Our Types plugin allows you to display custom fields that were not created in Types.

When you're using the fields and text block and you click the fields button you will need to scroll to Post Fields and then select Load non-Types custom fields.

Tell us what you are trying to do?

I am using Toolset for making custom single-product pages, views etc. to display my FooEvents (WooCommerce Products)
I'm not able to see any of the FooEvent fields (additional product fields to Products) when creating custom forms and views.

I see the FooEvents fields only when creating a "Single Field" block - using Field Source: Custom Field, Custom field type: others.

I cannot see the fields when creating "Fields and text" block ?!?!

Since im a newbie / not a wp programmer your support is highly appreciated !!

/Bo

Hello,

Thank you for getting in touch.

I'm not able to see any of the FooEvent fields (additional product fields to Products) when creating custom forms and views.

Only fields created in Types will show up automatically in our Forms. Any other non types fields will need to be added manually with the Generic field option in our Forms and giving it the same slug as the custom field from your other plugin.

Secondly for the fields and text block when you click the fields button you will need to scroll to Post Fields and then select Load non-Types custom fields.

Thanks,
Shane
