Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

This is a known issue with the author role for now. We already escalated this issue to our next level support. Please hold on for further update.

This is most probably due to the outdated PclZip version used on your server. Could you please check with your host and check with them that if your site is running with latest PclZip version on your server.

For now, until this issue fixed, the only way to update the plugins is to follow the manual way using plugins page.
=> Try to remove the existing Toolset plugin
=> Download the latest Toolset plugins from your account's page: https://toolset.com/account/downloads/
=> Upload the latest plugins using plugins page

For now, you can use the workaround I mentioned above and I'll get in touch with you as soon as I know more. Let me report this in front of our Devs.

Ok, sounds good - should I keep this ticket open in the meantime, or close it out?

I would like to inform you that we just published new version for Types and Access plugin.

Could you please update ALL Toolset plugins to it's latest official release version.

For now, you should try to update the Types plugin manually.
=> Try to remove/delete the existing Toolset Types plugin
=> Download the latest Toolset Types plugins from your account's page: https://toolset.com/account/downloads/
=> Upload the latest downloaded Types plugin using plugins page from admin

Once you update Types plugin manually, please try to update all other Toolset plugins using installer. Please check the following Doc:

Hi Minesh,

In order to minimize risk, could I just wait for the automatic update rather than risking removing the plugin first?

I'm using Beaver Builder and it is dependent on Types for a lot of custom fields related stuff.

Well - If you remove the plugin, it will not delete your settings or content or data.

Still - to be at safer side, you should take full backup of your site and then try to follow the steps I suggested.

You need to update plugins manually once in order to get automatic updates work for you because the issue with in current version.

In addition to this, what if you try to click on the button "Check for updates" and then try to update the plugins - does that work? If not, you need to update the plugin manually as per the steps suggested in my previous reply.
