I'm creating a template for a particular project category.
So far I've done the following:
1. Created custom fields
2. Created the template using Divi builder (selected custom fields using the 'fields and views' option in the Divi text module)
3. Created a new project and filled in custom fields and applied template
When viewing the page it is blank. So I'm assuming I must be missing a step somewhere?
Hi Mike,
Thank you for waiting.
During troubleshooting, I noticed a few points:
1. The option "Enable The Latest Divi Builder Experience" is enabled on the website, which is not recommended, as mentioned at:
https://toolset.com/documentation/recommended-themes/toolset-divi-integration/
( screenshot: hidden link )
2. If your goal is to show a Divi based layout only for the archive of the "Cupcake" product category ( hidden link ), you'll first create a WordPress Archive view and assign it to this archive page, as explained at:
https://toolset.com/documentation/recommended-themes/toolset-divi-integration/design-archives-for-custom-post-types-with-divi-builder-and-toolset/
3. I tried to check the "Cupcake Recipes" content template ( hidden link ) to test the feature of adding custom fields, but it was locked as another user was editing it.
In case the issue with the custom field shortcode still exists, please let me know the exact steps you've followed and make sure that no other user is working on it.
regards,
Waqar
My issue is resolved now. Thank you!
