I am trying to: upload a wordpress site to Google AppEngine

I expected to see: an uploaded site

Instead, I got: Not an uploaded site due to file limits

Google AppEngine has a 10.000 file upload limit, see hidden link

The current amount of files of the several plugins of Toolset are more than 6000 files:
layouts 2140
types-access 265
wp-types 2054
wp-views 1670

Is there any way to reduce the amount of files?

You can use embedded version of Types and Views (https://toolset.com/documentation/embedded-types-and-views/). The embedded version uses very less files and combines the power of both plugins.

You can develop locally and deploy just the result using the embedded versions.
