Types 1.8.6 Prevents Usage of Featured Image

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I updated from Types 1.8.5 to Types 1.8.6 and found that I could no longer add featured images to any posts.

I replaced 1.8.6 with 1.8.5 and featured images are working again.

This appears to be happening with 1.8.6.1 as well. Deactivating plugin allows saving of featured image. Screenshot shows blank checked image when enabled.

That's what I was seeing, too (on 1.8.6).

I haven't updated to 1.8.6.1 after reverting to 1.8.5.

Looks like I'll wait until there's an official reply to this topic.

The same here after I updated to 1.8.6.1
No way to assign a picture from the library as a post-thumbnail.
Copied types 1.8.5 from harddrive to server to redo the update.
Now the post-thumbnails working again.
Hope for a quick fix from toolset.

Having same issue.

I have TYPES v1.8.6.1, VIEWS v1.10.1 and wordpress v4.3.1.

Disabling Types featured images start to work again for pages and posts.

@all, Minesh escalated this issue to me.

We already pinpointed the problem and a correction has been implemented and made available in your client download page. Types has been incremented to version 1.8.6.2.
