Trying to figure out how to have 1 post be sorted to the top of a sorted view

I am trying to:

have 1 post appear at the top of my loop. The issue is that I need to sort by a custom field first (last-name), but I do not know how to have a secondary order by based upon a custom field. It does seem available.

Hi Darcy,

Thank you for contacting Toolset support. You cannot use the custom field with secondary sorting with Views as it's not implemented yet.

We already have a feature request submitted for this, I will add your request to the same as well.

Alternatively, if you want to display and keep one post always on top (something like sticky post), you can do any of following:

- Add the post title, link, any other content as text or html content at the Top of the Views.
- OR create a custom shortcode where you can pass ID for a specific post and put that shortcode in the View loop at at the top.

Currently above are the only solutions I can think of. Thank you
