Using Visual Composer Grid Builder, I'm trying to display the custom taxonomy I have called 'region' (screenshot: hidden link). When I use 'wpcf-tax=region' as the field key name (screenshot: hidden link), it doesn't work for me (screenshot: hidden link).

I feel like this should work because elsewhere, I used 'wpcf-career-location' within that exact same Grid Builder element to successfully display the custom post field.

In short, I know how to display a custom post field via the field key name, but not a custom taxonomy. Can you assist me, please? Thank you in advance!

This syntax is only for Custom Fields.

To display taxonomy Terms, with Toolset, without using PHP, you need the Toolset Types and Toolset Views Plugin and then use this ShortCode wpv-post-taxonomy:
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/views-shortcodes/#wpv-post-taxonomy
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/views-shortcodes/#wpv-taxonomy-title
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/views-shortcodes/#wpv-taxonomy-slug
(there are more)

You cannot use a Custom Field GUI/Syntax for this.
